Ms. Tante Colquitt is our school counselor, and you can find her in Room 117. She is here to help in many ways. She can help you better understand the credits you will need to graduate, how to dual enroll, where you can dual enroll, how to get into the college of your choice, how to pursue a specific career path of your interest, and so on. She is here for you!
Ms. Colquitt is a graduate of Pike County’s class of 1997, Gordon College Associate of Arts in Psychology, Fort Valley State University Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management. She has been employed with Pike Schools for nine years. She enjoys family time, reading, and watching movies. She is inspired by Maya Angelou and her quotes, “ If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude”. “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel”.

Pike County Ninth Grade Academy is located at 7360 US Highway 19 South, Zebulon, Georgia. This is a rural community which is supported by local stakeholders, parents and guardians. Our enrollment at the Ninth Grade Academy is 288 students. We have nearly 30 teachers and professional educators on staff.
